This is the lift to buy when you cannot dig. At 140 mm collapsed it sits on an existing concrete floor with a pair of bridge boards, so a rented unit, a mezzanine or a listed building is no obstacle. Capacity is unchanged from the in-ground version: 5,000 kg main, 3,000 kg sub, 2,000 mm lift.

The catch, stated plainly

You lose the flush floor. The platform is a 140 mm step across your bay, and cars drive over it on the bridge boards. Check two things before ordering: that the floor is flat to within a few millimetres over 4.5 m, and that the slab is rated for a point load far above a parked car — we supply the anchor layout, your structural engineer confirms it. Retrofitting anchors into a thin or cracked slab is how these lifts end up crooked.
