Neo 2 and Lito — palm takeoff, one-tap shots, optional goggles flight
This is the sub-category for aircraft you can launch from a bare hand and fly indoors without nerves: full propeller guards, palm takeoff, subject tracking and one-tap shot modes. The Neo 2 adds optional goggles and motion-controller flight, so the same aircraft serves as a beginner's selfie drone today and an FPV trainer tomorrow. The Lito X1 plays the same role in a smaller, lighter body aimed squarely at social-first creators.
These are the drones we hand to people who say they are "not a drone person". There is no assembly, no separate controller to buy before the first flight, and no checklist — press the button on the side, wait for the double beep, and it lifts off. Crash tolerance is the design brief, which is exactly what a first aircraft needs.
All the accessories of DJI products are also available — spare guard sets, batteries, charging hubs, goggles, motion controllers and propellers.

Frequently asked questions
Can these fly indoors without a controller?
Yes — that is the point of the category. Palm takeoff, hand landing and one-tap shot modes work with nothing but the aircraft itself. The controller and goggles are upgrades for manual flying, not prerequisites, and both are listed as accessories if you add them later.
Do the propeller guards make them slow?
The guards cost some top speed and a little flight time; that is the honest trade for an aircraft you can bounce off a wall. If outright speed is the goal, that is a goggles-and-controller conversation — tell us how you want to fly and we will point you at the right combination instead of the fastest brochure number.
