Storage Racks & Shelving
Boltless racks, wall-mounted shelving and heavy-duty units with stated per-shelf load ratings
Heavyweight shelving is temporarily delisted — here is the arithmetic
We are not listing boltless racks and heavy-duty shelving at the moment. Not because we cannot get them — because the freight does not work.
Every DDP lane we run is billed per kilogram of chargeable weight. A 34 kg rack packed for shipping bills at 34 kg, and at the current European sea rate that is more than half the shelf price before a cent of margin, duty or advertising. We could list it at €300 and sell none, or list it at €139 and lose money on every order. Neither is a business, so we do neither.
These products come back the moment we can ship them by volume instead of by weight — a consolidated container priced per cubic metre changes the arithmetic completely. We are pricing that now. Need shelving in quantity? Tell us the volume and we will cost it as a container rather than pretend it fits on a kilogram lane. You can also read why our catalogue looks different to a discount site.
