EU Product Safety Information (GPSR)
Why this page exists
Under the EU General Product Safety Regulation, products sold to EU consumers must identify a responsible economic operator in the EU, and must carry the safety information and warnings a consumer needs to use them safely. We keep that information here in one place rather than scattering it across pages, so you can find it when you need it.
Responsible person in the EU
EU authorised representative: appointment in progress — the name, registered address and contact e-mail required by Article 16 GPSR will be published here and in the site footer before the first EU shipment.
The seat of the seller is in China; the EU-based economic operator above is the addressee for market surveillance authorities and for any safety correspondence.
Product identification
Every product page states the model or SKU, the material, the dimensions and the weight. This is the identification you need for a warranty claim, a compliance check or a safety query, and it matches the label on the packaging.
Intended use and limits
| Storage racks and shelving | Intended for static indoor storage. Load ratings are stated per unit and per shelf and must not be exceeded. Not intended for use as a work platform or ladder. |
|---|---|
| Wall-mounted items (handrails, shelving, rails) | Must be fixed into sound masonry or timber with fixings suited to the substrate. A handrail is a support aid, not a fall-arrest device. |
| Hand tools and torque wrenches | Intended for hand use only. Do not extend a wrench with a cheater bar; do not use a ratchet as a breaker bar. Wear eye protection when applying high torque. |
| Lifting equipment (jacks, axle stands) | Never work beneath a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always use axle stands on a firm, level surface at the manufacturer's jacking points. |
| Pressure washer accessories | Observe the stated maximum pressure and flow. High-pressure water can cause injury — never direct a jet at people or animals. |
Warnings and instructions
Assembly instructions are supplied with every item requiring assembly. Where a product carries a specific warning — a load limit, a pressure rating, an electrical or mechanical hazard — that warning is printed on the packaging and repeated on the product page. If you are missing instructions or a warning label, contact us and we will send a replacement.
Reporting a safety issue
If you believe a product presents a safety risk, contact us and, where appropriate, your national market surveillance authority. We investigate every report and, where a defect is confirmed, we will contact affected customers directly and correct the listing.
