Mini, Air and Flip — aerial photography from 249 g to 1 kg class
Camera drones are the reason most people learn to fly. This sub-category holds the foldable DJI aircraft with a mechanically stabilised camera: the sub-250 g Mini series that flies in the lightest regulatory class, the larger Air 3S with its dual primary/telephoto cameras, and the Flip with full propeller protection around a 1/1.3-inch sensor. Every model here flies 30 minutes or more, records 4K, and returns itself home when the battery runs low or the link drops.
Choose by two numbers, not by marketing. Weight decides where you may fly — under 249 g keeps you in the C0/open class nearly everywhere in Europe, which for most buyers matters more than a tenth stop of dynamic range. The sensor and focal length decide what you can shoot — a 1-inch-type sensor and a telephoto camera change low-light and compression behaviour far more than video resolution does. The spec table on each page states both numbers plainly.
All the accessories of DJI products are also available — Fly More kits, ND filters, spare batteries, charging hubs and propellers, including parts for the discontinued Mini 3 Pro and Air 2S listed further down this page.

Frequently asked questions
Which model should a first-time buyer pick?
If weight class and simplicity matter most, the sub-250 g Mini line is the default: same foldable body, controller and app across the range, so the skill transfers when you upgrade. If you already know you shoot at dusk or need the telephoto reach, the Air 3S is the honest upgrade and the Minis become the second, travel aircraft.
Are the discontinued models on this page still supported?
The aircraft themselves are sold as confirmed refurbished or end-of-line stock only — the page states the condition before you order, and no DJI warranty is implied. Their batteries, propellers, charging hubs and controllers are genuine current parts and ship under the same duty-paid terms as everything else.
