Protection and image quality, not one or the other

Most guarded drones are toys; the Flip is not. Its carbon-fibre full propeller guard folds flat around a 1/1.3-inch gimbal camera that records 4K/60 HDR — so the aircraft is safe around people and indoors, but the footage is still content-grade. At under 249 g it stays in the C0 class across the EU.

One-tap shooting as the primary interface

Palm takeoff, subject tracking and one-tap shot modes work without a controller; the RC-N2 controller and goggles are optional upgrades for manual flight.
