The honest trade-offs

A 5 m platform on a 140 mm step needs a genuinely flat, sound slab, and it occupies more floor than most workshops expect — measure the bay, including door swing and the space you need to walk around the car. The slide mechanism adds a service item. What you get in exchange is the widest vehicle coverage in this range, at a price below a second alignment bay.
