A clear-floor gantry lift: the columns are joined by an overhead beam rather than a base frame on the floor, so the bay stays free of trip hazards and a trolley jack or a parts trolley moves across it without a ramp.

The trade-off is height

3,800 mm overall, against 2,825 mm for the standard two-post. Most workshops with a 4 m ceiling are fine; a low mezzanine or a roller door track is not. Measure before ordering, and remember the car sits on top of the lift — a van on the top lock needs real headroom.

Floor

No base frame means the load goes into two column footings, so the slab condition matters more than on a base-frame lift. We supply the anchor and footing drawing.
