Never work under a jack alone

Stands are not an accessory to a jack, they are the reason the jack is safe to use at all. The 3-tonne pair rating leaves margin on a 1,500 kg car, and the wide base plate is what stops the stand sinking on gravel. Always place stands on the manufacturer's jacking points, lower the car onto them, and give it a shake before going underneath.

Ordered with the heavy items, not on its own

At 11 kg packed these stands travel on the full-container lane, 45–60 days door to door. On their own that is a long wait for a light item; ordered together with a jack or a rack they add almost nothing to the freight, because a 40HQ container is billed by volume. If you need them sooner, tell us and we will quote them on the air lane at the higher freight rather than quietly putting them on a ship. Packed, the pair weighs 11 kg and measures 48 × 26 × 22 cm.
