ProFix Over-Glasses Safety Glasses

What it is for

Safety glasses fail for two reasons: they fog up, so they come off, or they are uncomfortable enough that they never go on. Impact protection is the easy part — what decides whether they are worn is the fit at the nose and the anti-fog performance of the lens.

Smoke lenses are for outdoor work in daylight, not for a dim workshop; a tinted lens in poor light is why someone lifts them onto their forehead. Over-glasses frames are designed to sit over a prescription pair, and the side arms have to be long enough to clear the frame temple.
