ProFix Full-Motion TV Wall Mount, 32–65 in

What it is for

A TV mount is bought by screen size and by what the wall is made of, in that order. The screen range tells you whether the VESA plate and the arm are big enough; the wall tells you whether the fixings will hold. Fixing a 55-inch screen to plasterboard with the plugs in the box is the mistake this category keeps seeing.

Fixed, tilting, full-motion and ceiling versions are not upgrades of each other — they solve different rooms. Tilt for a screen mounted above eye level, full-motion where the screen has to swing towards a sofa, ceiling where there is no usable wall at all.

Specification detail

Full-Motion mount for 32–65 in screens up to 40 kg, in carbon steel with a black powder coat finish and a VESA plate covering the standard 200 × 200 to 400 × 400 patterns. Spirit level and full fixing kit included; arm and plate are welded rather than bolted, which is where budget mounts fail.

• VESA plate covering 200 × 200 to 400 × 400, so the screen actually fits
• Welded arm and plate, not bolted — the joint is where cheap mounts break
• Spirit level and full fixing kit included, so the first hole is the only one
• Rated to 40 kg, with the wall type that rating assumes stated clearly

Before you order

Check the size and quantity against your own job first: most returns in this category come from ordering the wrong diameter, finish or pack size rather than from a fault. If you are unsure, send us a photo or a measurement and we will confirm which variant you need.
