ProFix 44-Piece Screwdriver Set, Slotted, Phillips & Pozidriv

What it is for

A screwdriver set is judged on two things: whether the tip actually grips the screw, and whether the handle lets you apply torque without your hand slipping. These use CR-V steel blades with a blackened tip so you can see the point sitting in the slot, and a flattened handle section that a spanner can be used on for a stubborn fastener.

The sizes are colour-coded by type, which matters more than it sounds: in a set of twelve, finding the right Pozidriv in ten seconds instead of a minute is the difference the set makes. The handle is a two-material grip, so it does not turn slick when it meets oil.

Specification detail

44 pieces with colour-coded two-material handles and a flattened section for spanner assistance. Blades in CR-V steel, hardened to a working hardness that resists cam-out without becoming brittle; delivered in a blow-moulded case.

• Blackened magnetic tips — the screw stays on the driver, not on the floor
• Colour-coded by type and size, so the right driver is found by eye
• Flattened handle section accepts a spanner on a seized screw
• Oil-resistant two-material grip, comfortable in a gloved hand

After-sales

Two-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Spare parts and wear items are kept in stock for the models we sell, so you are not forced to replace a whole assembly over one worn component. Warranty support is handled by e-mail in English, German or French.
