Para qué sirve
- Rigid, hardened square — a springy adaptor reads as torque and costs you the setting
- No correction factor: the wrench reads at the socket, whatever the drive size
- Retained by ball or pin, so the socket does not drop off mid-pull
- chrome vanadium steel with a black oxide finish finish, for a workshop that already owns both drive sizes

What it is for
An adaptor is the cheapest way to make one torque wrench cover two drive sizes, and it is also the easiest place to lose accuracy: a sloppy fit adds a few degrees of wind-up that the wrench then reads as torque. These are machined to a close fit and hardened through, so the extension stays rigid rather than springy under load.
Going from a 3/4 in drive to 1/2 in, the wrench still reads at the socket, so the figure on the scale is the figure at the fastener — there is no correction factor to apply. Keep the joint clean and dry: grease inside a square drive is how an adaptor starts reading short.

Buying more than one
Orders are consolidated and re-weighed at intake, and freight is re-calculated on the actual chargeable weight. If you are ordering several items for one address, ask us for a combined quote before paying — mixing light and bulky items usually brings the freight share down.
