What it is for

A squeegee works because the blade is sharp and the angle is right — a rounded or hardened blade smears instead of cutting, which is why a cheap one leaves streaks that have to be wiped again. These use a silicone blade with a straight edge and a handle that holds the head at the working angle rather than flat against the glass.

Blade width decides the job: 25 cm for internal windows and frames, 35 cm for large panes where a narrow blade would need three overlapping passes. The kit version adds a 500 ml sprayer, so a single pane can be done without carrying a bucket up a ladder.

Specification detail

Window Squeegee with Silicone Blade measuring 25 cm blade, with a silicone blade, a double-sided head (blade one way, scrubber the other) and a non-slip handle. The kit version includes a 500 ml trigger sprayer; blades are replaceable and sold separately.
