ProFix Polyurethane Sealant, 300 ml

What it is for

Three sealants, three different jobs, and swapping them is how a leak comes back. RTV silicone cures into a flexible gasket for a rocker cover or a thermostat housing; a threadlocker is an anaerobic adhesive that sets in the absence of air and stops a fastener vibrating loose; a polyurethane sealant is the one that stays flexible and paintable for a body seam or a windscreen frame.

The surface has to be clean and oil-free or none of them will hold, and the cure time is part of the job rather than an inconvenience. Medium-strength threadlocker is the right choice for anything you expect to remove again; use a high-strength grade only where you never intend to undo it.

300 ml cartridge with a nozzle, for clean, oil-free surfaces. Service temperature and oil resistance are stated per product; allow the full cure time before filling with oil or applying load, and use the medium-strength threadlocker on fasteners you expect to remove again.
