What it is for

Drawer slides are chosen by the depth of the cabinet carcass, not by the size of the drawer front. A 450 mm slide needs a 450 mm internal depth plus clearance at the back for the bracket, and it is the reason a slide ordered one size up will not go in however much the drawer is trimmed.

These are ball-bearing, full-extension slides rated per pair, and they are sold as a pair because one slide is not a drawer. The rating assumes both slides are mounted level and square; a pair mounted out of line will lose a third of its capacity before it is loaded.

Specification detail

300 mm full-extension ball-bearing slides, one pair, in carbon steel with a zinc plated finish and a 35 kg rating per pair. Side-mounted with a release lever for removing the drawer; mounting screws are included and are the correct length for a 16 mm drawer side.
