Torque wrench drift check after a year — results
Marek D. (PL) · 2026-09-21
Calibrated mine against a shop reference after ~400 uses: max deviation 1.8 % across 40–180 Nm, still inside the ±3 % spec. My routine: always wound back to lowest scale, never dropped, stored in the case. The click is still crisp.
Conclusion for the doubters: the calibration certificate it ships with is not just paper.

Mag rail + van racking: a hold-down pattern that survived 12 months
Sofia L. (IT) · 2026-09-09 · replies: 1
Mounted two mag rails on a steel van shelf with countersunk M6 bolts every 150 mm, then tested on rough mountain roads for a year. Nothing shifted, nothing scratched. The trick: 2 mm rubber strip underneath — stops the mag from walking and kills the rattle.
